Sticks and Wombat are in a bit of strife because they’ve used up their space for the ensuite and the walk-in-robe of their bedroom, and now they’re going to have a study that is so small that it’s going to look like a broom closet. In fact, it probably would have been better off being a giant walk-in linen cupboard instead of a study. But I’d definitely do that, or I’d maybe do a gentlemen’s whiskey room.
And did any of the other couples’ struggle trying to think of a room to do that wasn’t a bedroom? Not really. Josh and Elyse also had a little bit of space issues cause they pinched a little bit of that room as well, for the bathroom and for that bedroom, and I think that was a mistake because other teams have now got a second lounge, which I think is pretty important.
If I had a spare room to build at my place I would definitely turn it into an office/study, because I’ve got stuff all over the place and I’d really like to have a purpose-built study that’s got all the filing cabinets, shelving and books, and everything like that. And quite a big room, not a small room, that’s definitely what I’d do for ‘anything but a bedroom’.
